Gnarls Barkley won both awards for the categories they were nominated in at this years MTV VMA’s. ‘Run’ won awards for Best Choreography and Best Art Direction. They will sit nicely alongside the three they already have for Crazy back in 2006 and Smiley Faces from 2007. |

Gnarls Barkley have received two MTV VMA award nominations for the video ‘Run’. The video was directed by Happy and is up for best Art Direction and best choreography. The video was initially slammed as it was suggested it put some viewers at risk from seizures. |

Firstly Estelle for her album ‘Shine’ and secondly Laura Marling for her album ‘Alas, I Can Not Swim. The Cribs have received huge end of year acclaim this week for their release ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’ in various publications. The NME named the album #9 of the year, the single ‘Men’s Needs’ #3 of the year and the video for ‘Men’s Needs’ #2 of the year.
